Gaining Momentum
Out in this Valley, when it rains, it pou-...well it doesn't actually rain now and there aren't too many words for snow. So we'll just say this: out here, when it snows, it really snows. That's not hyperbole. Since we're tutors, we understand expressive language and as our new referrals and valued customers have begun to sign on, well they've really begun to sign on. This is a good sign (sign, sing--homonyms, see, we do this for a living) because it probably means we're doing something right. Of course, it could just be a statistical anomaly, we still need more data points before we can rule that out entirely.
Here's the news: Our second client, Andreas Calabrese, also a Junior Olympic skiier joined the 3GG ranks. One thing is for sure. Our company might not be the biggest or have the most what's that stuff, oh yeah, money--but our kids could beat your kids in a ski race any day--go ahead, try us. Also excitingly (is that a word, well it is now), the 3gg music center had its debut virtual opening--check out the link about five inches to the right or click here. The music center is Kumar's baby. He is a phenomenal pianist who likes to act possessed by the nymphs of harmony when he plays--it's a writhing and sonorous treat. He's excited (so we're excited) about a partnership with the Eagle-Vail elementary school's music program. They play their final concert at the Vilar Center for the Arts up at Beaver Creek. All will go great assuming Kums (that's his nickname) takes of his ski instructor boots before trying the dampener pedal. More's in the works--a teaching partnership with Edwards cello instructor Ken Carpenter, two more prospective tutees and some SAT work. Yeah, we do that too. Don't forget to hit the hills before they freeze over, and hit the apres before you do.
